I've been active my whole life, but somewhere along the way, being active stopped being enough and I started wanting to understand it. I have a degree in Physical Activity Studies, and the more I've learned, the more questions I have. What the body can do. How it works for us and how it lets us down. The complicated relationship most of us have with it, and what the mind has to do with any of that.
When I graduated I expected to end up working in sport or fitness. Life had other plans, though. I spent over two decades in events instead, and I loved it. But I'm at a point now where I'm ready to follow the thing that actually lights me up, and it turns out that thing has been there the whole time.
I'm working through a Personal Training diploma because I love training and what it does for my body and my mind. I'm not an expert and I'm not sure I even want to pursue a career in fitness. I'm just someone who finds this stuff really interesting and wants to go as deep as I can.
Vive Le Body is where I share what I'm learning. Not another channel telling you what to eat or how to train. This is the stuff underneath all of that. The stories nobody usually tells.
